The Sycamore Technology Award was offered to freshmen and transfer students the opportunity to receive a laptop, provided they meet specific requirements. While this award is no longer offered to incoming freshman, below are the support options for the devices:
Hardware Support for Sycamore Technology Award Laptops
	- Temporary Laptop Assistance: In the event that your laptop requires repairs and is unavailable, we will provide you with a loaner laptop, subject to availability and as per your needs.
- Free Hardware Repair: During the three-year coverage period of your laptop warranty, our skilled technicians will conduct hardware repairs at no cost for each individual device covered.
	
		- Exceptions: Batteries and chargers are only covered for the first year
 
- Software Support: We provide assistance for basic ISU-standard software, such as Microsoft Office, running on your laptop. Our team is here to help you navigate any software-related issues you may encounter.
- Image Installation: We offer the installation of a fresh image, including Windows, Office, and more. This service ensures that your laptop operates smoothly and efficiently.
However, please note the following limitations:
	- Post-Warranty Hardware Repairs: After the expiration of your laptop's warranty, we are unable to perform hardware repairs.
